Meet Nicholas— Nicholas’ journey hasn’t been easy, but his heart is as big as he is. Rescued just before Christmas 2024, Nicholas is a big, happy guy who’s still very much a puppy at heart. He loves to play, be goofy, and show off his sweet, wiggly personality. He’s likely a Rhodesian/Redbone Coonhound mix and has that perfect mix of energy and affection. Nicholas has been through a board-and-train program and has a great foundation. He’d do best with an active family who enjoys getting outside and spending time with him. He’d probably love having another high-energy dog to play with, but he could also be happy as an only dog with plenty of attention. Because he’s goofy and doesn’t always realize his size, a home without small kids would be best. Nicholas is ready for someone to give him a real chance and a place to finally call home.
